In the mid 1800’s in Dusseldorf the tradition of Alt Bier got started. Alt “old” is the similar to ales found in Belgium and England, but with a German personality. The Alt Bier is brown with a firm tan head, its aromatics are faintly fruity, full in body and shows a snappy hoppiness. Our Alt is fermented warm but matured at cold temperatures producing a beer smooth but with distinct hop flavor. This beer won a Bronze medal from the GABF.

FOOD PAIRING // The combination of hop bitterness, full malt flavor, and restrained fruitiness makes Alt Bier wonderful with roasted meats. The hops give the beer the cutting power to handle strong sauces give it a try with our BBQ Chicken or Pepperoni Pizza, it’s superb.
